Doctors of Excellence is taking part in the 3rd Annual Harvest Fest. On behalf of our members we are donating several baskets and gift certificates to this very worthy cause. The event is being sponsored by the financial department for St. George University which is a prestigious medical school in Granada, West Indies. Raymond is a five year old child with a very serious illness. Cystic Fibrosis is the second most common life-shortening, inherited disorder occurring during childhood in the United States, after sickle cell anemia. Approximately 30,000 Americans have CF, and there are an estimated 1,000 new cases diagnosed each year. There is no cure for cystic fibrosis. Management of the disease varies from person to person and generally focuses on treating respiratory and digestive problems to prevent infection and other complications. Treatment usually involves a combination of medicines and home treatment methods, such as respiratory and nutritional therapies. Raymond needs both!!
We are proud to take part in this very important event and are donating $2,000 worth of gift baskets. We wish the Dyne family, especially little Raymond, a successful event that raises enough funds to help him afford a new breathing vest and more. Cystic Fibrosis is a life-threatening illness, but with your assistance, we can truly help Raymond. With your help, this will greatly increase Raymond’s quality of life and give his family some peace of mind.

A Letter From Amanda
“To all my friends and family,
You all know that I’ve been living with diabetes my whole life, and it stinks. It would be a dream come true if I could even live one day without this annoying disease. Im crossing my fingers every year and wishing for hope and I have a feeling this or maybe next year might be it. All I need are donations to the JDRF and I will wait and see if all the great doctors can do it.
I would love not to have to do finger pricks, site changes, not having to wear a pump and not watching my blood sugar all the time. I cant eat my cheese cake and black and white cookies — forget about that. I could be a normal kid.
I would love it if you could send money to help me and millions of other kids around the world. We would all love not to have diabetes anymore.

Help DOE Support SmileTrain
There are millions of children with unrepaired cleft lips and palates who have little to no prospect of ever being helped. Their parents are so poor, they could never afford surgery. So they wait and they hope and they pray that someday, someone will come along and help them.
